Impacters Winter Conference

THE EVENT

Impacters Winter Conference is Youth Impact's premier youth conference for teenagers of high school age and above. Ever heard someone say that the Catholic faith is outdated and not fun, well we've set out to prove them wrong. Faith is meant to be relevant and fun!

This is the first time we have held an event in a theatre, it will be a new FUN experience for all involved and will have an element of 'class' to it! 

Impacters Winter Conference will include everything that we have come to expect from a Youth Impact event: the band, crazy games and entertainment, great food, late nights (for accommodation option), fun speakers, an optional Catholic mass and lots of surprises.

THE DETAILS

WHERE:     Nexus Theatre, Murdoch University, 90 South Street, Murdoch, WA.
WHEN:

13-15th July 2010

Daily 10.30am to 9pm. (Accommodation a seperate option)

Arrive on the 13th July between 9.45am and 10.15am for registration. (10.15am on 14th and 15th is ample time)

Pick up each evening is between 9.00pm and 9.30pm.

COST:

(conference only)

Normal:       $119

On the Day: $139

Cost includes everything: sessions, worskhops, activities, games, showbag, lunch and dinner

At the conclusion of the conference on the 13th and 14th of July the delegates will be bussed to Woodman Point Campsite in Munster.

Additional Cost: $50 (This is an additional cost on top of the conference cost)

Cost includes: bus to and from venue, night activities and breakfast. 

BRING

Plenty of clothes for the three days
Personal toiletries
2 towels
ALL BEDDING (Including pillow, sleeping bag and all bed linen)
Older clothes and closed footwear for outdoor activity
Torch
Lollies (if you wish... we won't have access to shops, there is a food court at Murdoch)

WHO:  Teenagers and young adults of secondary age and above 

OTHER INFORMATION

- PARENT INFORMATION SHEET: This can be downloaded by clicking HERE

- ACCOMMODATION: Woodman Point Campsite had dormitories. Males and females will be in seperate dormitories and have access to seperate bathrooms. Breakfast will be provided, please inform us if you have any special dietary needs.

- NEVER BEEN: Even if you have never been to a Youth Impact event before, come along! You will have a great time!

- MONEY: If money is a real problem for you, contact Adrienne at the Youth Impact office. We have a small number of sponsored places available and don't want anyone to miss out because of money!

- VALUABLES: Please do not bring valuables with you as Youth Impact will not accept responsibility for damage or loss of such items.

- PARKING: There is no free parking at Murdoch University. We suggest getting dropped off and picked up. However, if you do need to bring your car, there is paid ticket parking in the blue zone. Or pay $5 per day and park in the green zone. This needs to be pre-organised with the uni, contact the YI office for more information.
